The accomplishments of Dr. Ayedh Bin Farhan Bin Al Mubarak Al Qahtani are continuation of his father accomplishment; Shaikh Farhan Bin Al Mubarak Al Qahtani who had great reputation in the Kingdom of Saudi Area as one of the most successful businessmen. He founded one of the biggest contracting companies in the Kingdom during the fifties of last century. Because of that, Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani has always regarded his father as a role model for his values, relationships, management, and planning. Therefore, Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani’s accomplishments, after the passing away of his father, and by the grace of Allah are expressions of gratefulness and gratitude to his first mentor Farhan Bin Al Mubarak.

Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani got his Bachelor Degree in Industrial Management from King Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz University for Petroleum and Minerals. Then, he received his Ph.D with honor in Real-Estate Industry from Concordia University North West in Canada. His Ph.D thesis was about the philosophy of Real-Estate Development (Makkah Gate Project and it’s role in improving civil environment of the City of Makkah )
In 1997, Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani founded “Rikaz” Real Estate Company in partnership with Hassan Abdul Karim Al Qahtani Group. Rikaz has undertaken a number of successful projects in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani continued managing Rikaz until year 2002 when he partnered with Al Fozan and Al Muhaidib to establish Al Oula Real Estate development Co. Al Oula developed several mega projects in Saudi and the Gulf countries. In addition to being a partner, Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani was also the CEO and the managing director of Al Oula. During that time, he founded number of successful companies such as “Shamiyyah” Construction Company which developed projects to the north of Makkah’s Holy Mosque, Thabat, Emaar Middle East Company and many others. Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani continued as the CEO and the managing director of Al Oula until 2007, and thereafter continued as a partner and a board member in it council.
In 2008, Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani founded Sumou Real Estate Company which became one of the most distinguished and successful Real Estate Development companies in Saudi. Sumou’s through its unique vision aims at developing best construction projects that serve the society and the country. Sumou managed in short period of time to offer many successful projects that are full of creativity and excellence such as Induscom, Al Jodi, Rofan and of course the Makkah Gate project.
Currently, Dr. Ayedh Al Qahtani is Chairman of board of directors of Sumou Holding and Sumou Real Estate Company. He is also board member in many other companies and charity organizations. Dr. Ayedh received number of awards such as Best Real Estate Man in Middle East, Marketing Excellence Award from Arab League, Best Businessman in from Arabian Business magazine.
